Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Framer/Carpenter to join our construction team. You'll be working residential and commercial projects- everything from framing walls and decks to building concrete formwork. Duties

  • Interpret blueprints and schematics to determine project specifications and requirements.
  • Construct frameworks for buildings using wood, metal, or other materials.
  • Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structures.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and assembling materials.
  • Engage in restoration projects, ensuring that existing structures are repaired or rebuilt according to standards.
  • Install drywall and other building materials as part of the overall framing construction process.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency during construction activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.

Skills

  • Ability in blueprint reading and understanding construction schematics.
  • Strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and framing techniques.
  • Experience with concrete forming.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by the job duties.
  • Competence in using various hand tools and power tools effectively.
  • Comfortable with both metric and imperial measurements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
