We are currently seeking a forklift operator/material handler to work within our metal fabrication department.

AFTERNOON SHIFT: 4:00pm to 12:30am

  • Use a Counterbalance forklift to move sheet metal material within manufacturing facility.
  • Use a Counterbalance forklift to provide material or move material to and from individual work stations.
  • Support machine operators with material requests.
  • Use Counterbalance to store material on racking
  • Provide other general assistance whenever required
  • Operate equipment with safety always being the number one priority.
  • Follow all pre-start and end of shift safety protocols and daily inspection of equipment.
  • Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Must attend regular company paid safety training sessions to maintain valid lift truck license.
  • All other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Fluent in English: verbal and written
  • Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Valid Counterbalance Lift Truck Certificate
  • Minimum 1 year experience driving a counterbalance lift truck within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
  • Knowledge or experience working within a sheet metal fabrication facility a definite asset
