We are currently seeking a forklift operator/material handler to work within our metal fabrication department.

AFTERNOON SHIFT: 4:00pm to 12:30am
- Use a Counterbalance forklift to move sheet metal material within manufacturing facility.
- Use a Counterbalance forklift to provide material or move material to and from individual work stations.
- Support machine operators with material requests.
- Use Counterbalance to store material on racking
- Provide other general assistance whenever required
- Operate equipment with safety always being the number one priority.
- Follow all pre-start and end of shift safety protocols and daily inspection of equipment.
- Work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Must attend regular company paid safety training sessions to maintain valid lift truck license.
- All other duties as may be assigned

Qualifications and Experience:

- Fluent in English: verbal and written
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions
- Valid Counterbalance Lift Truck Certificate
- Minimum 1 year experience driving a counterbalance lift truck within a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Knowledge or experience working within a sheet metal fabrication facility a definite asset

Pay: $19.00-$21.00 per hour
