**Material Handler/Forklift Operator - Afternoon Shifts**

**Reports to**:
General Manager

**Position Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Load, unload, and move materials and products using forklifts, pallet jacks, cranes, or other material-handling equipment.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials to production teams to avoid downtime.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify against purchase orders, and inspect for accuracy and damage.
- Organize and store materials and inventory in designated locations, keeping the warehouse clean and efficient.
- Perform inventory counts and maintain accurate records of materials using ERP or inventory tracking systems.
- Prepare materials and products for shipping, including packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Safely handle heavy mining equipment components and follow proper lifting procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement and production departments to support production schedules and customer orders.
- Follow all company health & safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
- Report damaged goods or unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.
- Support continuous improvement and lean warehouse practices.

**Qualifications**:

- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment (mining or heavy industry preferred).
- Valid forklift operator certification is required.
- Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, industrial setting.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with ERP or inventory software (e.g., Odoo) is an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

**Working Conditions**:

- Manufacturing and warehouse setting, including exposure to dust, noise, and varying temperatures.
- PPE provided and required at all times.
- May require standing, lifting, and walking for extended periods.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
