Operations Manager
to work with one of our clients in the Military Defense Manufacturing industry The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President and will lead all operational functions at the Ingersoll facilities, including Maintenance, Production, and Production Planning, providing both strategic and hands-on leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-performing manufacturing operations that support business growth and continuous improvement.

Job Type:
Full-time, permanent.

Compensation: $115,000 - $165,000 annually + excellent benefits + profit sharing + pension contributions + annual bonus program and more

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct cross-functional operational teams
  • Oversee complex, multi-department manufacturing operations
  • Champion change and drive continuous improvement efforts
  • Make sound, timely decisions in high-pressure operational environments
  • Balance strategic priorities with hands-on day-to-day execution
  • Juggle multiple priorities across several facilities

Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in a technical field is required
  • Minimum 15 years of related experience in manufacturing operations
  • Minimum 10 years of demonstrated leadership experience in production, maintenance, and operations management
  • Proven experience in managing multi-department or multi-site manufacturing operations
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and operations management
  • Experience with production planning, maintenance oversight, and capacity planning systems
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies and operational excellence principles
  • Knowledge of health and safety legislation and manufacturing compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in performance measurement systems and KPI tracking
  • Capability in strategic and operational planning within a manufacturing environment
