Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Line Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about food preparation and committed to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while contributing to an exceptional dining experience for our guests. Prior restaurant and kitchen experience is preferred, along with a strong understanding of food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards
  • Assist in food preparation, including chopping, slicing, and portioning ingredients
  • Ensure all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including washing dishes and sanitizing surfaces
  • Follow food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth kitchen operations during service
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate needs for restocking ingredients and supplies
  • Adhere to serving protocols and assist in maintaining a positive dining environment

Skills

  • Must have valid Food Handling Certifications
  • Must be available to converse in English.
  • Must be available to work during the week but also weekend and holidays.
  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service within a restaurant or food industry setting
  • Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation standards
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality presentation
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills
  • Familiarity with meal preparation techniques and kitchen equipment operation
  • Passion for delivering exceptional customer service through quality food presentation and timely service

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
