We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in meal preparation, cooking, and ensuring that food safety standards are met. This position requires teamwork, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards
  • Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner to meet service demands
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment
  • Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines for proper food handling
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during service
  • Participate in menu planning and development as needed

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a restaurant setting
  • Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with kitchen staff
  • Familiarity with various cooking techniques and equipment used in the kitchen
