Position: Night Shift Maintenance Technician

Since 2005, eCycle Solutions has been committed to protecting and improving our environment through safe, convenient, and cost-effective recycling methods for electronic and electrically powered assets. Our Maintenance team is currently looking for a seasoned Industrial Millwright Mechanic to help support our Mississauga during the NIGHT.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Diagnose and resolve issues with motors, pumps, conveyors, and hydraulic systems, including conveyor rebuilds and repairs.
Must have excellent mechanical, background with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and issues.
Check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary.
Ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
Ensure high level technical support to lower-level technicians.
Show expertise in working with team and independently
Comply with company safety guidelines and procedures.
Repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards.
Use hand tools like power tools and rigging equipment
Ability to Weld and use a cutting torch as necessary
Handle repairs and complete work order in a timely manner.
Troubleshooting, including such areas as pneumatics, hydraulics, equipment and other related systems.
Maintain a clean, organized and safe work area.
Time management, organizational and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals.
Adherent to company Health and Safety Protocols

Please Note that this position is a NIGHT Shift Sunday-Thursday 10pm-7am, however at the beginning few weeks you will be on day shift until training is completed.

Must be available to work overtime as needed.
Self-starter with strong organizational skills; able to work effectively with all levels of staff.
Ability to operate man lifts and forklifts safely.
Capable of lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 75 lbs.
Minimum of 8,000 hours of related experience; trade certificate preferred.
Proven experience as an Industrial Mechanic or in a similar role.
Ability to fabricate parts using various tools and equipment.
Familiarity with welding techniques and boiler operations.
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, crouch, and work in confined or elevated spaces for extended periods.
Ability to tolerate noise, vibration, and exposure to dust or chemicals (with proper PPE).
Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors, including in hot or cold conditions.
