Our rapidly growing company in Mississauga is on the lookout for a passionate and talented Maintenance Technician.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Will be responsible for troubleshooting, fixing mechanical problems, Set up of equipment in an efficient manner.
- Performing major and minor adjustments to equipment in a reasonable timeframe.
- Participate in scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.
- Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and report any potential issues.
- Maintain the overall functionality of the plant warehouse, including repairs to structures and fixtures.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and actively seek learning opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, repairs, and equipment documentation.
- Perform all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner, ensure equipment and machines are clean and in good working order, follow GMP.

**Skills and Experience**:

- Minimum of 1-2 year of experience in a Food Manufacturing Environment.
- Electrical Engineering Technician Diploma with Industrial Experience
- Experience in maintaining accurate and complete maintenance record documentation.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or technical role is desirable.
- Knowledge with mechanical systems, electrical systems, and hand tools.
- Ability to follow safety protocols and guidelines.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- A passion for the maintenance field, with a willingness to develop skills across various areas.
