**Summary**:

- **The Maintenance Technician will be responsible to carry out preventative maintenance, maintaining the day-to-day operations, and assuming responsibility for maintaining the physical activities of various assets of the Company including the general maintenance and upkeep of equipment and machinery to minimize production downtime. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining electrical, mechanical, and other related systems. The Maintenance Technician must be prepared to work as a team member and with mínimal supervision, follow all safety and food safety procedures, and have a high threshold for heat in a manufacturing environment.**_

**Job Duties and Responsibilities** (include but not limited to):

- Contribute to the resolution of system and equipment breakdowns and general maintenance tasks such as troubleshooting and equipment modification.
- Troubleshoot process and production issues sufficient to facilitate repairs.
- Completion of documentation related to preventative maintenance, repairs, safety, inventory and process/procedures.
- Perform maintenance and repair of production line and Packaging equipment.
- Utilize welding, fabrication,pneumatics and hydraulic skills for equipment repair.
- 6. Adhering to all policies, procedures and programs of the company (GMP, Quality, Food Safety, Health & Safety etc) at all times.
- 7. Other related duties and assigned.

**Working Conditions**:

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Mississauga, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- millwright: 1 year (preferred)
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
