Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Food Service Worker to join our team in providing exceptional catering experiences.

This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

We have some catering events throughout the next couple of weeks (Dec 1st (am), 6th (mid day) and 7th(pm)). We are looking for an individual who is available for these dates to come help with set up, serving, clean up and take down.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food industry, strong hospitality skills, and a commitment to food safety standards. Previous restaurant or food industry experience is highly valued, along with a friendly demeanor and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve food items according to established recipes and standards
  • Assist with food handling and safety procedures to ensure compliance with health regulations
  • Serve customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their needs promptly
  • Maintain cleanliness of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment
  • Replenish supplies and ensure proper food presentation
  • Follow all safety protocols related to food preparation and service
  • Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy hours
  • Set up of catering event, serving food, clean up, take down.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude
  • Ability to serve efficiently in a fast-paced setting
  • Experience with food preparation, serving, and basic kitchen duties is advantageous
  • Catering experience or background in hospitality is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and teamwork orientation
  • Ability to follow instructions carefully and maintain high standards of cleanliness and safety

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
