We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in our Montreal office

Your day as an Accounting Analyst

• Prepare and enter the journal entries for the month end.
• Prepare and upload the files to the GL such as journal entries, budgets and forecast figures.
• Contribute to the monthly accounting closing process.
• Execute reconciliations and account verifications for some GL accounts.
• Run reports and extract data from the system.
• Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements with the preparation of support documents.
• Provide support to the controllers and corporate controller during month-ends, year-end and budget process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Our Ideal Candidate

• University degree in Accounting
• Maximum of 2 to 3 years' experience in a similar role
• CPA designation completed or in the process of being completed.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel, Access, Microsoft Word.
• Knowledge of EPIC is an asset.
• Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec;
• Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to details, effective time management and organizational skills.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
