We are looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our team in our Montreal office As a member of our Finance division, you will be responsible for delivering the highest quality service to clients, colleagues, and insurers. If you're seeking a dynamic work environment, keep reading If you're career-driven and looking for a fast-paced workplace where growth is a priority, you'll love being part of our team Your day as an Accounting Analyst Prepare and enter the journal entries for the month end. Prepare and upload the files to the GL such as journal entries, budgets and forecast figures. Contribute to the monthly accounting closing process. Execute reconciliations and account verifications for some GL accounts. Run reports and extract data from the system. Contribute to the preparation of year-end financial statements with the preparation of support documents. Provide support to the controllers and corporate controller during month-ends, year-end and budget process. Perform other duties as assigned. Our Ideal Candidate University degree in Accounting Maximum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar role CPA designation completed or in the process of being completed. Excellent knowledge of Excel, Access, Microsoft Word. Knowledge of EPIC is an asset. Bilingual with strong verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, as the candidate will be required to interact in English with stakeholders (colleagues and clients) outside Quebec; Ability to work well independently, as part of a team and with others throughout the organization. Strong communication skills. Attention to details, effective time management and organizational skills. Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
