MaintainX powers operational excellence for 10,000+ businesses including Duracell, Univar Solutions Inc., Titan America, McDonald's, Brenntag, Cintas, Xylem, and Shell.We recently completed a $150 million Series D round, bringing our total funding to $254 million and valuing the company at $2.5 billion.We're looking for an Accounting Analyst to join our growing Finance teamReporting to the Financial controller, the Accounting Analyst will play a crucial role in ensuring a timely period-end close and accurate financial reporting, as well as assisting the finance team with day-to-day business operations. The ideal candidate is highly proactive, a strong critical thinker, a problem solver, and extremely organized. You are someone who works independently on a variety of tasks and adapts to a fast-changing environment.What you’ll do:Contribute to monthly financial operations by assisting in account preparation, and reconciliation, and conducting insightful analyses of financial statements to ensure accuracy.Support month-end and year-end close accounting processes.Collaborate with various departments to gather financial data to ensure accurate accounting records.Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.Supporting the audit preparation and providing relevant documentation to the auditors.Contribute to process improvements and optimization of accounting procedures.About you:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance2+ years of professional experience in audit, or accountingDetail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in workStrong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standardsProficiency with Excel and accounting software (experience with Quickbooks or similar tool is a plus)Excellent time management and organizational skillsWell-organized and able to handle multiple tasks quickly and accuratelyHigh energy, flexible, and has a willingness to take initiativeCPA designation an assetWhat’s in it for you:Competitive salary and meaningful equity opportunities.Healthcare, dental, and vision coverage.You’ll work alongside folks across the globe that reflect the MaintainX values, Smart Humble Optimist.We believe in meritocracy, where ideas and effort are publicly celebrated.About us:Our mission is to make the life of blue-collar workers easier worldwide by creating software that meets their needs and realities.
