About the Role

We are seeking a Physical AI Lab Specialist to support the day‑to‑day operations of the client's AI Lab in Toronto. This role plays a key part in enabling clients to explore and adopt AI‑driven solutions for physical environments through hands‑on demonstrations, innovation workshops, and applied research.

The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in robotics and physical AI, enjoys working in a lab environment, and is comfortable engaging both technical and business audiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the Physical AI Lab, including setup, testing, and demonstrations
  • Support hands‑on robotics and physical AI demonstrations for client sessions and innovation workshops
  • Configure and operate robotics platforms, sensors, and simulation environments
  • Conduct virtual testing and demonstrations using simulation tools
  • Support applied research and proof‑of‑concept development in robotics and AI
  • Collaborate with consulting and innovation teams to deliver high‑quality client experiences
  • Assist with immersive presentations using AR/VR technologies where applicable
  • Document experiments, demos, and outcomes clearly for internal and client use

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Robotics, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or a related field
  • Hands‑on experience working with robotics platforms, sensors, and simulation technologies
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non‑technical audiences
  • Ability to work independently in an on‑site lab environment

Required Technical Skills

  • Experience with ROS / ROS2
  • Familiarity with Unitree SDK or similar robotics platforms
  • Hands‑on experience using Gazebo or Isaac Sim for virtual testing and demonstrations
  • Knowledge of AI/ML frameworks and physical system integration
  • Experience developing or supporting reinforcement learning methods for robot behavior
  • Understanding of kinematics, locomotion, and control systems
  • Knowledge of AR/VR tools for immersive demonstrations is an asset
  • Exposure to client‑facing roles, innovation labs, or consulting environments is preferred
