Duties

Reporting to the Supervisor of Recreation Client Services, the Part-time Receptionist/Cashier, 55+ Recreation Centre is responsible for performing reception and administrative duties associated with the Whitby 55+ Recreation Services, including:

• processing of memberships;
• providing facility tours;
• handling telephone and counter inquiries;
• cash handling;
• processing event and trip registrations for members; and,
• other duties as may be assigned.

What You Bring To Our Team

As the successful applicant, you must possess:

• a secondary school graduation diploma;
• related administrative/clerical experience;
• an intermediate level knowledge with MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel), with well-developed keyboarding skills;
• current certification in Emergency First Aid and CPR 'C' with AED; and
• a valid Police criminal record check to work with the vulnerable sector.

Salary Range/Hourly Rate:
$ $24.91

Flex hours, including days, evenings and weekends (maximum of 24 hours per week).
