• You have a strong sense of integrity and high ethical standards that you use to ensure company compliance with federal laws, regulations and guidance
• You have a broad knowledge in the areas of occupational safety, fire safety, security and crisis management
• You have a university degree and/or proven experience in the area of risk management, compliance and internal control or internal audit
• You have a minimum 7 years of managerial experience in a multinational organization and/or managerial experience from running operation on site/store level, preferably store manager
• You have an active Ontario Security License and First-Aid Certificate
Your responsibilities
• Overall responsible to lead, review, support and secure the risk and compliance aspects of the businesses and operations in Ingka for a designated country, as well as responsible to implement standard processes and ways of working for the risk and compliance area in the Ingka Group.
• Accountable for the creation and execution of the country Business Risk & Compliance plan based on country risk register, priorities and business needs. Ensure a solid integration and partnership with the Ingka business in order to grasp opportunities and enable a risk based approach throughout the country.
• Lead the creation of country specific risk and compliance insights in order to identify and act on risks and business opportunities.
• Secure that management has relevant and tactical and strategical risk and compliance insights to support business planning process and decision making.
• Accountable for maintaining country Risk Register in order to identify, assess and manage risks at country level, document and report findings to Country Management and Country Matrix Leader.
• Lead the Crisis Management work, secure that routines and response plans are implemented to ensure crisis preparedness throughout the country.
• Lead implementation of standardized and automated ways of working to create efficiency by 'right by design' and create alignment throughout the country.
• Accountable to secure implemented and effective global Business Risk & Compliance frameworks based on country risk appetite and context, business needs, local regulation and legislation, secure sign off by Group Business Risk & Compliance.
• Responsible for leading and developing a high performing Business Risk & Compliance function as well as matrix in the country, based on set goals, KRI's and KPI's, resulting in an efficient, professional and high performing organization with identified talents for the needs of today and tomorrow.
• Lead and inspire a risk and compliance performance mind-set, raise risk awareness and promote a risk culture throughout the country organization, and thereby support growth and maximization of business value.

The starting rate/ salary for this position ranges from 70,800 CAD to 88,500 CAD and will be based on relevant work experience.
