About the opportunity:
The
Product Manager
will contribute to the company's growth by aligning the product offering (line, equipment, and service) with customer expectations and ensuring its promotion. The incumbent will be responsible for their product line within the organization.
Responsibilities & what you'll be doing:
- Manage the catalog for the product line for which they are responsible
- Creates and updates definition documents defining standards, variants, and options, as well as use cases and limitations
- Collects customer feedback and conducts customer satisfaction audits
- Analyzes strenths and weaknesses of the current offering
- Identifies opportunities for product development or optimization/improvement
- Formalize the requirements specifications for the new product or product improvement
- Manage the customer/business interface during the product development projects
- Guard the project's business case
- Define competitive advantages/selling points
- Create sales support tools: customer presentations, virtual catalog, promotional videos, commercial offer text
- Train sales, customer solutions/applications teams, and project teams on new products or evolution
- Support the sales team in business as a product expert
- Promote the offering externally in collaboration with communications (customer presentations, exhibition, seminar, webinar, press)
- Monitor the effectiveness of the deployment
- Develop knowledge of process impacts on key finished product characteristics in collaboration with the bakery and pastry chef teams
- Organize and participate in tests conducted with the equipment
Education & Experience:
- 3+ years of experience in a program/project manager role
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Bachelor's degree in engineering required, mechanical engineering considered an asset.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and comfortable leading meetings and presentations
- Strong interpersonal skills, experience working effectively in a team environment with proven ability to influence.
- Exceptional customer facing skills and experience required.

- Strong relationship-building skills, both with our customers and across internal teams
- Solutions focused – seeing opportunities to improve where challenges may exist
- Good problem solving and decision-making skills, able to make sound judgment
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Effective time management skills
- Great team player who at the same time can work with little or no supervision
- Able to consistently represent the company in a professional manner
- Bilingual in English and French considered an asset.
