Operations MOBIS, Terminal Team Lead MOBIS -Markham ,ON

Hourly Pay Rate: $23.68

Shift: 11 am - 7:30 pm

  • Providing leadership and supervision to the warehouse team, ensuring employees are working and following policies.
  • Managing all employees on the floor ensuring a safe environment.
  • Be responsible for overseeing daily operations outlined by the Supervisor, supporting supervisor on duty, and covering whenever needed in each area.
  • Manage team members by prioritizing tasks and making sure the tasks are completed in a timely manner, regular audits to avoid mis sorts.
  • Assist in loading/ unloading outbound shipments.
  • Review incoming deliveries of material.
  • Be responsible for ensuring that daily scheduled orders are completed and shipped on time.
  • Be responsible for ensuring inventory and sorting accuracy.
  • Assist in creating and implementing processes and procedures to increase productivity.
  • Promote quality across the team while meeting daily goals.
  • Reporting damages, filling nonconformance reports, reporting issues and concerns, and following the instructions given by your direct supervisor.
  • Monitors performance of all staff, coaching to improve performance and recommending discipline when required.
  • Receives product using RF technology, well ensuring 100% scanning and training employees to follow proper policies and procedures.
  • Performs same duties as a warehouse workers and forklift operators.
  • Coordinates manpower and key points with supervisor/manager.
  • Complies with health and safety procedures well communicating issues with employees and documenting behaviors.
  • Assists management on duty with warehouse associates.
  • Manages movement and transfer of freight and materials on dock.
  • Monitors activities within area of remit to ensure that efficiency and service level agreements are met.
  • Manages all aspects of attendance, absence, overtime, and maintains accurate records for own area of responsibility.
  • Ensuring cleanliness of assigned area along with all areas of the warehouse, assigning employees to cleaning of the warehouse.
  • Communicating needs of manpower, possible cuts in areas overstaffed.
  • In charge of area assigned, performance of employees, productivity, and scanning.
  • Add building and equipment Damage reporting.
  • required Supplies are available for staff and request replenishment when needed.
  • All other duties as required.
