POSITION: Tactical Security Guards

*Rate of pay will be based on prior experience and training, specific duties, location, and risk levels.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BEFORE APPLYING:

  • ALBERTA SECURITY LICENSE – (ABST)

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills

  • Valid Class 5 Driver's License (Mandatory)

  • Physically Fit and capable of performing physically challenging tasks

  • Applicants must be professional in both conduct and appearance

  • Strong interpersonal and conflict management skills

  • Verbal Judo/Tactical Communication and asset or must be willing to enroll.

  • Willing to learn and build with Impact.

  • Handcuff Training Certificate is an asset

Education: Graduation from an approved post-secondary institution in a field of security management or security administration. Degree equivalency an asset.

Experience:

  • Experience in developing a training or an awareness program.

  • Experience in delivering a training or an awareness program.

  • Experience in business continuity or emergency preparedness planning.

  • Experience conducting security inspections.

  • Experience in investigating security breaches and violations.

  • Experience administering a departmental security program (physical security or personnel security or security in contracting).

  • Knowledge: Knowledge of Provincial and Federal security legislation, standards or procedures.

  • Valid Alberta Security License.

  • Valid Handcuffing / Use of Force certificate (preferred).

  • Must possess a valid driver's license or have the personal mobility to the extent usually associated with the possession of a valid driver's license.
