Allied Universal is seeking** Security Professionals **in Edmonton, Alberta.

**Job Title**: Security Professional

**Job Location**: Edmonton, Alberta

**Job Type**: Full-Time

**Shifts : Monday to Wednesday, Alternatively -Thursday -Friday OR Saturday-Sunday**

**Time : 1130 -1930**

**Pay Rate**: $19 per hour

**Requirement**:

- Valid **Alberta **security guard license.
- Display **exceptional customer service and communication skills**:

- **Must have PPCT or equivalent tactical training.**:

- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian Criminal Code as it pertains to your authorities as a security guard, powers of arrest and use of force restrictions.
- Have **intermediate computer skills** to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License and own vehicle as the site is not on the public transport route.
- Must be eligible to work in Canada.
- First Aid and CPR
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods, occasionally climb stairs, and lift or carry up to 40 pounds.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct foot patrols of buildings and surrounding areas.
- Monitor and report suspicious activities and persons.
- Prevent and detect thefts or vandalism.
- Write detailed incident reports and maintain daily logs.
- Enforce rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
- Resolve conflicts calmly and effectively.
- Use radios and cell phones to communicate with team members.
- Follow emergency procedures and respond to alarms.
- Ensure safety and security protocols are upheld.
