The Opportunity

As Senior Director of Finance – U.S. Land Segment, you will serve as the strategic financial leader for one of our most dynamic business units. This is a high-impact role where you'll partner with senior commercial and operational leaders to drive profitable growth, enable transformation, and influence strategic decisions across our U.S. retail and wholesale operations.

You'll be at the forefront of shaping segment strategy, optimizing performance, and building scalable financial infrastructure to support both organic expansion and acquisitions. What You'll Do

Strategic Finance Leadership

  • Partner with commercial leaders to evaluate growth opportunities, including M&A and strategic partnerships.
  • Lead financial assessments of customer and supplier economics to identify margin improvement opportunities.
  • Influence segment strategy in alignment with enterprise goals and market dynamics.

Performance & Transformation

  • Sponsor initiatives that enhance margin, efficiency, and scalability.
  • Lead transformation projects to elevate financial capabilities and operational agility.
  • Drive continuous improvement across finance processes and systems.

Planning & Analytics

  • Own the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly forecasts.
  • Deliver actionable insights to senior leadership through robust performance reviews.
  • Support decision-making with forward-looking analytics and scenario modeling.

Capital Stewardship & Cost Management

  • Ensure disciplined capital allocation and ROI analysis for growth initiatives.
  • Promote excellence in working capital, inventory, and procurement practices.
  • Identify and lead cost optimization initiatives that balance efficiency with strategic investment.

Reporting & Controls

  • Ensure timely, accurate financial reporting and compliance with internal and external standards.
  • Maintain strong internal controls and risk management practices.
  • Provide leadership with financial insights that support both tactical and strategic decisions.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership, ideally within energy, logistics, or industrial sectors.
  • Proven success in M&A, business development, and post-merger integration.
  • Strong operational finance background with experience in scalable systems and process design.
  • Experience in downstream marketing preferred.
