About the Role:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Assistant to join our trucking operations team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting daily logistics activities, ensuring timely coordination between customers, the dispatch team, and internal departments. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and send rate quotations, proposals, and service offers to customers accurately and promptly.
  • Monitor and manage incoming emails to ensure timely responses to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Coordinate with customers regarding booking details, delivery schedules, and trucking requirements.
  • Liaise with the dispatch team to ensure the proper scheduling and deployment of trucks and drivers.
  • Track and update shipment and delivery statuses; provide customers with real-time updates when necessary.
  • Maintain organized records of bookings, communications, and operational documents.
  • Assist in resolving customer concerns in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Provide administrative support to the operations department, including data entry, reporting, and documentation.
  • Ensure that all communications and operational processes comply with company standards and customer requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as may be assigned by management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.20-$25.00 per hour
