Job Overview

Responsibilities
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations and staff.
- Supervise and train kitchen personnel in food preparation and cooking techniques.
- Ensure that all food is prepared according to established recipes and standards.
- Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout the kitchen.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and specials.
- Oversee daily kitchen activities, ensuring timely service and quality control.
- Handle any issues or complaints that arise during service in a professional manner.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in the food industry.
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food handling practices.
- Experience in restaurant management with an emphasis on team management.
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
