A Spoonfull Of Sugar Childminders is a premier nanny agency in Winnipeg, matching families with caregivers who are fully invested in a child's development and well-being. We are currently seeking dedicated, professional nannies for four specific long-term placements.

Available Placements (Driving Required for All)

Please indicate which shift(s) you are applying for in your application:

  • Niagara Street: Tuesday–Thursday, 3:15 PM – 8:00 PM.
  • South Winnipeg: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
  • Siddiqui Ridge: Monday–Friday, 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM.
  • Chadwick Crescent: Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM – 6:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developmental Engagement: Create daily schedules and age-appropriate activities to ensure healthy mental, physical, and emotional growth.
  • Safety & Supervision: Maintain constant focus on the children to ensure their safety and protect them from physical hazards.
  • Nutritious Meal Prep: Prepare healthy meals and snacks, adhering to all food safety and allergy guidelines.
  • Housekeeping Excellence: Follow our "leave it clean" policy, ensuring the home is as clean or neater than when you arrived (potentially including dishes, laundry, and tidying toys).
  • Professional Reporting: Provide a verbal report at the end of every shift regarding activities, behavior, and appetite.
  • Undivided Attention: Safety is key Adhere to our strict policy of no personal calls, texting, or social media use while on duty.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Previous professional experience as a nanny or in childcare is required.
  • Transportation: Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle are essential for these roles. Note: If using a personal vehicle, employees must update their insurance to "business" coverage to ensure they are protected during work hours.
  • Certifications: Must hold and maintain valid, up-to-date CPR and First Aid certifications.
  • Reliability: Proven track record of punctuality; our agency does not condone tardiness as it impacts the families' professional commitments.
  • Character: Must exhibit kindness, empathy, and professional boundaries at all times.
