Oretta Midtown at Yonge and Eglinton is looking for an experienced Server Assistant to join our team The ideal candidate has a minimum of 1 year experience in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant with excellent customer service skills, passion for hospitality, and a team-oriented environment. Previous experience working in fine dining with Italian food and wine knowledge is considered an asset.

We are looking for a part-time Server Assistant to join our team. We are looking for weekday availability as a preference and would be strongly considering those who are available weekdays, working 10 or 11am until 5, 6 or even 7pm depending on the day.

About You

We are looking for part-time Server Assistants to join our Front of House team. The ideal candidate has experience in customer service, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, can multi-task and bring a positive energy to the floor. As a member of the Server Assistant team, you must be reliable, take on several daily physical tasks, and be a strong team player. Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced dining establishment with guest interaction is an asset

  • Availability with both day and night shifts during the week as well as on weekends and Holidays (fully available on Friday, Saturday and Sundays is a must)
  • Smart Serve Certification
  • Good understanding of English language is required, knowing Italian is an asset

Job description

  • Reporting to the Manager on duty
  • Assisting with Opening or Closing of the restaurant
  • Following daily Server Assistant checklists, including beautifications and shift cleanliness
  • Polishing, food running, clearing, cleaning, and resetting the floor during peak lunch and dinner services
  • Assisting servers with events
  • Working as a part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Bringing a positive attitude and professional work ethic
  • Adhering to Oretta Employee handbook
