Design & Sales Consultant

Salary/wage range: Base salary plus commission

Key Responsibilities:

  • Seek out and generate new sales from new home construction, renovations and remodels.
  • Ability to maximize design for form and function in spaces of any size.
  • Anticipate and inform clients of additional features which may be of use to them.
  • Careful consideration to the placement of water and electrical systems to ensure safety.
  • Consulting with your clients to understand their style and their cabinetry needs, and ascertain the intended functions to create design solutions within required timelines.
  • Prepare accurate price quotes within timelines.
  • Conduct site visits, including measurements, mark-outs and working with trades regarding electrical, plumbing, etc.
  • Maintain activity with your jobs and your clients as they progress through the various stages of completion.

Skill Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of sales and design experience in cabinetry
  • Experience with kitchen design, including 20/20 design software
  • Strong communication and customer service readiness
  • Understanding of building and construction drawings
  • Current understanding of Alberta Building Codes
  • Ability to travel to job sites in a reliable and clean vehicle
  • Strong math skills and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to stay organized and manage time well

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00-$68,000.00 per year
