Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a love for food and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality dishes in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Pizza Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking delicious pizzas while ensuring adherence to food safety standards and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including dough, sauces, and toppings.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and utensils.
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
  • Help train new kitchen staff on proper food handling and preparation techniques.

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred.
  • Familiarity with food preparation techniques, especially in the pizza-making process.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with other kitchen staff.
  • A passion for cooking and creating delicious meals that delight customers.
