Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Pizza Cook to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a focus on delivering high-quality pizzas in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This role requires an understanding of food safety standards and the ability to work collaboratively within a kitchen team.

Duties

  • Prepare and cook pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations
  • Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling practices
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient service during peak hours
  • Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and communicate needs to management
  • Follow all kitchen procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred
  • Familiarity with cooking techniques, particularly in pizza preparation and baking
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in food handling
  • Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen setting, demonstrating the ability to multitask effectively
  • Strong teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
