Landscaper/Labourer

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Snow Removal Labourer to join our team starting right away And to be on-call for the snow season and possible on-going summer landscaping work. The ideal candidate will have a passion for part-time and seasonal outdoor work and a strong interest in horticulture and landscape and property maintenance. This role involves performing various tasks related to landscaping, gardening, snow removal and maintenance of outdoor spaces, ensuring that our projects are completed to the highest standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various landscaping tasks..
• Engage in gardening activities including planting, pruning, weeding, and mulching to enhance the aesthetic appeal of landscapes.
• Conduct regular landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and debris removal.
• Collaborate with team members on construction projects related to landscaping features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
• Maintain equipment and tools in good working condition through regular cleaning and minor repairs.
• Operating snow removal equipment

Qualifications

• Previous experience in landscape maintenance/ snow removal is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with various equipment operation like skid steers, plow trucks, atv's is a plus.
• Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and maintain landscaping equipment effectively.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining physical stamina for manual labor tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
