Job Title:
Sr. BSA- Payments

Location:
Toronto, ON (Hybrid- 3 days a week)

Must-haves:

Advanced Communication Skills (Verbal/Written)

  • Strong Requirements Elicitation Skills
  • Strong User Stories/System Requirements Creation Skills
  • Experience with Data Analysis/Mapping/Modelling – including ability to write/execute SQL queries (preferably leveraging HOST/mainframe screens/transactions/copybooks/datasets or similar)
  • Experience with leveraging existing APIs/Microservices – including understanding of API Specifications, initiating REST API Requests and interpreting Responses, familiarity with JSON Syntax and tools like Postman (preferably also changing existing APIs/microservices and/or implementing new ones from scratch
  • Experience with: System Context Diagrams, Flow/Sequence Diagrams, Use case diagrams/documentation, Project Delivery (Agile/PDLC), JIRA, Confluence, MS Office, MS Visio

Nice-to-haves:

Prior experience with / working knowledge of:

  • Broad-based Payments Knowledge (including but not limited to Wires over SWIFT, other rails like Visa or Interac, ISO20022, etc.)
  • FinTech/COTS/Vendor Product Integration within internal ecosystem (on-prem, vendor hosted SaaS, or implementation on private or public cloud)
  • Changing Object-Oriented Programming (Java/J2EE, C++, Python)
  • HOST/Mainframe Programming (COBOL)
  • Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Regulatory / Compliance (Sanctions, Fraud, etc.) initiatives
  • Business Process Modelling Notation (BPMN) & Decision Model & Notation (DMN)
  • Scrum Facilitation (acting ScrumMaster on projects when required)
  • Building reports/dashboards (using tools like Tableau, Power BI)
  • Project Planning & Estimation (using tools like MS Project)
