A dynamic and well-financed mining and exploration company with active operations across several international and domestic jurisdictions is seeking an ambitious and capable individual to lead the development of a
fully permitted tailings gold reclamation project
near
Sudbury, Ontario
.

The successful candidate will join an experienced team focused on small-scale development and exploration activities, with the opportunity to assume a
hands-on leadership role
in bringing this project into production.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the startup and day-to-day management of a tailings gold recovery operation, targeting a processing rate of
    100–300 tonnes per day
    .
  • Supervise operational, technical, and environmental aspects of the project to ensure compliance, safety, and efficiency.
  • Lead and coordinate a small multidisciplinary team to achieve production milestones and optimize recovery performance.
  • Contribute to the transition from tailings reprocessing to
    mining higher-grade gold lenses
    as the project advances.
  • Report directly to senior management and contribute to corporate growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

  • A strong interest in
    gold processing and leaching techniques
    , with practical understanding considered a distinct advantage.
  • Prior experience in
    small-scale mining, mineral processing, or project management
    is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple operational priorities.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
