Position: Part Time School Age Educators and Site SupervisorsContract - August 25, 2025 to June 26, 2026 Location: London Compensation: Starting rates are dependent on region, qualifications, and contract. Members of the College of Early Childhood Educators, Ontario - $ $26.00 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)Non-Members - $ 20.50 per hour (includes Government Wage Enhancements)As part of your total compensation:Receive a complimentary YMCA personal membership to our Health & Fitness facilities, and discounts on YMCA child care and camp programs Access vacation entitlement in accordance with the employment standards regulations, and up to 3 paid personal days annuallyBe part of a caring and supportive network of people to help each other succeedComplimentary access to wellness and counselling servicesContribute to real, meaningful impact in the lives of children and youth Schedule:Monday through Friday following the elementary school calendar September to June.Morning program operates from - 6:45 am - 9:00am (varies with location) Afternoon program operates from - 2:30pm - 6:00pm (varies with location)Possibility of additional full-day shifts on PD Days/Breaks - various locations and needsRequired to commit to supporting a family of schools within a reasonable proximitySite Supervisors must be available to work both morning and afternoon shifts In this role, you will:Plan and deliver a consistent child-centered program for elementary age children, in accordance with our YMCA curriculumProvide quality compassionate care and support to children and their familiesEnsure supervision and safety of children at all times; Understand and comply with provincial (CCEYA), municipal and YMCA policies and proceduresBe committed to diversity, equity, inclusion and building a sense of belongingEmbrace and exemplify the Y's core values Education & Skills Qualifications:Experience working with children 4-12 years in a work or school placement setting is an assetPlans to enroll, or in current pursuit of a diploma in Early Childhood Education, or in pursuit or holds a diploma or a degree in a related field of study is an assetEarly Childhood Education graduates must be registered (or proof that registration is in process) and in good standing in the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)Graduates in a related field of study must be members of their associations as requiredValid Standard First Aid and CPR Level C certification or include the date of training scheduled within the next three months.
