LTO - Adult & Continuing Education - English Teacher ENG4C - 0.5 FTE

Location:
St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education

LTO Assignment -
afternoon class - 12:00 -2:30 p.m. daily.

LTO assignments: Please note that the end date of this assignment is subject to change as applicable.
Schedule/Salary:
As per Collective Agreement

The Successful Candidate

• Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree and be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers
• Intermediate/Senior English qualifications required
• Successful secondary teaching experience preferred
• Proficiency with D2L preferred
• Experience in a Catholic school preferred
• Previous experience in continuing education programs an asset
• A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession
• A practicing Catholic with a strong and active Catholic Faith life
• Roman Catholic Baptismal Certificate or equivalent, or proof of initiation into the Roman Catholic Church
• Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques
• Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices
• Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all student
