Voyago is hiring a Part-Time Charter/School Bus Driver in London
We are seeking a reliable and professional driver to join our team in a dual role as a
Charter and School Bus Driver
. In this position, you will be responsible for safely transporting passengers on a variety of charter trips, ensuring a comfortable and enjoyable travel experience. As the face of our company, you will deliver exceptional customer service while upholding the highest safety standards. When not assigned to charter work, you will support our regular school routes as needed.

Your role:

• Safely operate buses and transport passengers on scheduled charter trips and school routes
• Ensure the safety of passengers during boarding, exiting, and throughout the journey
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure they meet safety and operational standards
• Fueling the bus and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the vehicle
• Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns promptly to the maintenance team
• Provide excellent customer service, responding to passenger needs and inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
• Follow all traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations at all times
• Maintain accurate logs, trip reports, and any required documentation

This is a unionized position.

Requirements
Your profile

• You are safety focused
• You hold a full Ontario G class licence (preference will be given to those with an upgraded licence)
• You are 21 years of age or over
• You are a safe driver with a clean driving record
• You can obtain a clean criminal record search and vulnerable sector screening
• You have a sound knowledge of the region and surrounding areas
• You have the physical ability to bend, twist, and secure wheelchairs on accessible buses, ability to lift passenger luggage into bus storage compartments
• You are comfortable driving on all highways in all weather and road conditions
• You have the ability to work independently
• You have flexible availability and can work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
• You have intermediate to advanced verbal and written language skills (equivalent to B2 to C1 levels)

Hourly Rate

• Charters and schools rate is $21.84/hour
