Job Summary

The
Business Analyst
will support a major data management initiative within Enterprise Compliance by providing
data governance
,
data retention and disposition support
, and
analysis
aligned with organizational and regulatory requirements. This role partners closely with stakeholders to identify gaps, perform data assessments, execute manual disposition tasks, and strengthen enterprise data management practices. The analyst will contribute to documenting requirements, cataloguing data assets, and ensuring compliance with standards and policies across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support for enterprise data governance and data management initiatives.
  • Support
    Data Retention and Disposition (DRD)
    remediation activities and ensure compliance with enterprise standards.
  • Conduct data analysis, assess retention/disposition requirements, and assist in the development of related documentation and procedures.
  • Support the inventory and cataloguing of data assets and complete manual data disposition and evidencing activities.
  • Identify, escalate, and help document project and data-related risks and issues.
  • Build strong working relationships to collaborate effectively with peers, stakeholders, and project partners.
  • Manage multiple stakeholder interactions and provide support to project teams as needed.

Required Experience

  • Undergraduate degree required.
  • 2-4 years
    of business analysis or related professional experience.
  • Experience supporting governance, change management, or data-centric initiatives.

Nice-to-Have Experience

  • Background in financial services or banking.
  • Experience with data management controls, compliance, or regulatory frameworks.
