Experiential Marketing Specialist

We're seeking an Experiential Marketing Specialist for a unique opportunity at our client, Kia Canada. This role will be employed by INNOCEAN Canada, but 100% onsite at Kia Canada supporting an Experiential Marketing Manager and an existing Experiential Marketing Specialist.
You'll be directly responsible for providing continuous support of Kia Canada's (KCA) experiential, partnership and events portfolio, with specific focus and support for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. You will be expected to support the planning and execution of Kia Canada's execution of the global sponsorship in 2026 in Canada as a primary objective, with potential secondary support for Canadian AutoShows in Q1 of 2026.
What Your Typical Day Will Look Like
:
- Support the Experiential Marketing Manager with the execution of logistics related to creating memorable experiences at FIFA including communications, merchandise supply, signage, collateral development, vehicle management etc.
- Coordinate with internal KCA team, Kia North American Team and Kia Global team as well as agency partners to deliver on our FIFA milestones from what is already in progress to completion (planning, briefings, proposals, execution, and post project reviews).
- Ensure that all executions are strategically aligned with Kia's brand identity and global direction.
- Support, management, & coordination of events and on-site activations with key partners including agencies, vendors, data providers and internal departments, clearly defining roles and responsibilities and ensuring that all FIFA elements are on strategy.
- Support tracking of program budgets and scope of work, ensuring maximum ROI and overall expenditures remain in line with agreed budgets.
- Support vehicle management process, logistics, preparation, and documentation for FIFA and AutoShows.
- Secondary support of AutoShows, supporting existing KCA Experiential lead internally.
- This role may require travel in support of FIFA and AutoShows.
The Skills & Experience You Bring:
- Post-graduate degree or diploma in marketing or business admin.
- Demonstrated, long term experience leading, managing, support global sponsorships, including engagement with local, regional and or global stakeholders.
- Experience can be client and/or agency
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced culture within a matrixed organization.
- Demonstrated long term experience in the experiential marketing realm.
- Must possess advanced MS office suite skills.
- Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- Must possess excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication in English.
- Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, budgeting, and execution skills.
- Able to build and maintain lasting relationships with other departments and demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team.
- Self-starter, demonstrated ability to take initiative while at the same time not acting in isolation or as a silo.
- Exceptional customer service skills with the desire to exceed expectations.
- Comfortable and have the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and more.
