Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our home care team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in private home care environments. This role requires a strong foundation in nursing practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to with a pediatricpatient. The LPN will be responsible for administering medications, monitoring patient conditions, and supporting overall patient well-being in accordance with healthcare regulations and instructions from parents

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive patient care in home care.
  • Administer medications accurately following physicians and parents order.
  • Monitor vital signs and assess patient conditions regularly to identify any changes or concerns.
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, and mobility support.
  • Document patient information accurately using documents the family provides
  • Collaborate with physicians, registered nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
  • Perform suction, gtube feeds, trach care, handling ventilator Support
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment adhering to infection control standards.

Qualifications

  • Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of practice.
  • Prior experience in nursing home settings, hospital environments, or acute care is highly preferred.
  • Experience pediatrics, or home health is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate patient-centered care.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail and critical thinking
  • Child is 5 years old, none verbal, tracheostomy,dexcom and feeding tube

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $52.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 – 6 per week
