Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and passionate Hairstylist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be skilled in natural hair care and styling, including hair washing, braiding, cornrows, twists, and general natural hair maintenance. You will provide high-quality services that enhance clients' confidence and maintain the salon's reputation for excellence.

In addition to hairstyling, the stylist will also perform facials and basic hair care treatments, ensuring clients receive a complete and relaxing beauty experience. Candidates with basic haircutting skills will be given added consideration, as versatility and a willingness to grow within the role are highly valued.

Duties

  • Wash, condition, and detangle clients' hair using professional techniques and products.
  • Create stylish and lasting braids, cornrows, twists, and other natural hair designs.
  • Provide natural hair treatments and care routines tailored to individual client needs.
  • Perform basic facials and skincare treatments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and salon tools.
  • Offer exceptional customer service, ensuring clients feel comfortable and satisfied.
  • Stay informed on current hair trends, products, and best practices.
  • Assist with haircutting and trimming services, if qualified.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a hairstylist specializing in natural hair care.
  • Strong skills in braiding, twisting, and protective styling.
  • Knowledge of hair health, scalp care, and appropriate product usage.
  • Experience with facial treatments is preferred.
  • Basic haircutting skills are a plus.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.75-$24.00 per hour
