We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Licensed Hairstylist to join our dynamic team in Ottawa, Ontario. This is an exciting opportunity for a creative professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional client experiences and staying ahead of industry trends.

Mandatory Qualifications & Experience

To be considered for this role, all applicants must meet the following non-negotiable requirements:

* Valid License: Must hold a current, active License to Practice Hairstyling from Skilled Trades Ontario.

* Demonstrable Experience: You must have mandatory, proven, professional experience in executing a comprehensive range of services, specifically:

* Advanced Colour Techniques: Expert proficiency in Balayage and Highlights is essential.

* Precision Cutting: Mandatory experience with modern and classic Haircuts for all hair types and lengths.

* Location: Applicants must currently reside within the Ottawa area. No relocation assistance or sponsorship will be provided.

* Availability: Guaranteed weekend availability is a non-negotiable requirement.

* Client Transformation: Masterfully execute desired styles using a diverse portfolio of premium hair care products and precision tools.

* Consultation & Articulation: Clearly and confidently articulate our full spectrum of services and product benefits, providing tailored recommendations.

* Service Excellence: Actively solicit and synthesize client feedback to ensure continuous improvement and personalized service delivery.

* Trend Leadership: Proactively research and integrate the latest innovations and emerging fashion trends in hair and styling.

* Business Development & Marketing:

* Self-Promotion: Strategically market your services to cultivate and expand your own clientele base.

* Digital Presence: Leverage social media platforms to grow your professional brand and attract new clients.

* Client Retention: Nurture enduring relationships with clients through superior service and excellent interpersonal skills.

* Communication: Exhibit exceptional listening and verbal communication skills to ensure client needs are fully understood and met.
