Position: Live-in caregiver – seniors

Vacancy: 1

Location: Brossard, QC J4Y 2G4

Salary: C$21.80 /HOUR, Job Nature: Full Time for 40 hours per week

Job Nature: Permanent full time employment with Contract Term

Availability: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift, Overtime & Holidays

Start date: Starts as soon as possible

Requirements Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to less than 2 years or equivalent experience .Proficiency in French or English. Proficiency in other language like Urdu and Punjabi is an asset.

Job responsibilities:

Administer bedside and personal care

Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene

Assist in regular exercise, e.g., walk

Feed or assist in feeding

Launder clothing and household linens

Mend clothing and linens

Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties

Plan therapeutic diets and menus

Provide personal care

Prepare and serve nutritious meals

Cook

Additional Skills:

Cuisine specialties

· South Indian

Security and safety

· Reference required

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Combination of sitting, standing, walking

  • Physically demanding

  • Repetitive tasks

  • Work under pressure
