Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalized care and support to clients in their own homes. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about helping others, especially those with experience in assisted living, senior care, or nursing home environments. The caregiver will assist with daily activities, medication management, meal preparation, and other essential tasks to promote independence and well-being. Candidates should be committed to maintaining a safe, respectful, and comfortable environment for clients requiring various levels of care, including dementia and hospice care. Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Provide patient care tailored to individual needs, including medication administration and health monitoring
  • Support clients with meal preparation and nutritional needs
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning and laundry to maintain a safe living environment
  • Assist with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
  • Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or isolation
  • Coordinate with family members and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed
  • Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition promptly

Skills

  • Prior experience in assisted living, nursing home, or home care settings preferred
  • Strong understanding of senior care, dementia care, hospice care, and working with people with disabilities
  • Excellent caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and compassion
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when required
  • Knowledge of medication administration protocols
  • Ability to prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions or preferences
  • Good communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members
  • Ability to handle cleaning tasks efficiently while maintaining hygiene standards
  • Flexibility to adapt to different client needs and schedules
