Real Estate Law Clerk

Reports to: Scott Allison and Noemi Ramirez

Location: Georgetown and Erin, Ontario

Ramirez Allison LLP is a reputable law firm that serves Halton Hills and surrounding communities. We pride ourselves on providing our clients with excellent customer service as well as practical and cost-effective solutions. We provide a complimentary offering of legal services and are looking to bring on a full time Real Estate Law Clerk to support our busy real estate practice.

For the right candidate, a fully remote position will be considered.

Key responsibilities and expectations include:

The successful candidate will hold a diploma from an accredited law clerk program or equivalent and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in residential real estate transactions.

Daily responsibilities will include new client intake, file management and on-going client communication. The successful candidate must be able to handle residential real estate purchases, sales and refinances from start to finish.

Your Skills & Experience:

  • Significant experience working in real estate law
  • Experience in commercial real estate and private mortgage lending an asset
  • Experience in corporate and estate matters an asset
  • A post-secondary Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma/degree or extensive prior experience
  • Aptitude and confidence with PCLaw, Teraview, Closer, Fast Company and MSOffice
  • Adaptability and attention to detail are crucial, and strong stakeholder management would allow someone to be very successful in this role

Pay: $60,000.00-$85,000.00 per year
