Warehouse Supervisor

Summary

Golden Happiness Bakery Ltd. is a locally owned and operated business. Originally founded as a Retail Bakery in Calgary, we have grown our business and transitioned to a Frozen Food Processing Plant that distributes our product throughout Canada and the United States. At Golden Happiness Bakery, we pride ourselves in the quality of our products with over 30 of expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, order picking and shipping of food products.
  • Lead, train and motivate warehouse staff to maintain productivity, quality and food safety standards.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records, coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment that meets health and safety requirements.
  • Implement and enforce proper handling, rotation, and storage procedures (FIFO/FEFO)
  • Manage inventory accuracy through regular cycle counts and audits.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure temperature control, sanitation and pest control compliance.
  • Prepare regular inspections to ensure warehouse performance and suggest process improvements.
  • Generate daily reports on productivity inventory, and shipping performance.

Job Specifications/Requirements:

  • Minimum 2- 3 year of warehouse experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • High School or equivalent education
  • Strong leadership, communication and organizational skills
  • Proficient in warehouse management system (WMS) and basic computer software(Excel, Word).
  • High accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks that may require light to moderately heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.)
  • Safety oriented team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Positive attitude, high energy, self-motivated individual who demonstrates flexibility and adaptability
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Able to transport
