Our customer base includes Air Canada, WestJet, Canadian Coast Guard, Purolator, Petro Canada, Home Hardware, Alaska Airlines and a broad base of government entities such as the Federal Government of Canada.
Job Summary: The Account Executive is responsible for generating new business that meets the criteria set out by the Unisync Executive Team.
- Travel may be required up to 75% of the time*
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and converting opportunities across public sector accounts, including optimizing sales of existing and legacy inventory
- Engage with public sector accounts prior to RFP release
- Track anticipated upcoming RFP release dates for key target clients that have been contacted vis-à-vis phone block sessions
- Manage debriefs for any unsuccessful sales proposals with Executive Team, recording all critical feedback on Unisync price and service competitiveness scores
- Sourcing and qualifying viable opportunities from market research, that meet Unisync target customer profile criteria
- Weekly phone block sessions to drive contact with prospective new business in the public sector
- Preparing and coordinating proposals that communicate Unisync's experience, organizational products and services to prospective clients
- Manage all prospective customer submission requirements and deadlines in addition to written proposals, including but not limited to; product sample submissions and approved pricing submission components.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of Unisync's product and service offerings, including internal procurement and manufacturing processes
- Develop an understanding of Unisync competition to strategically leverage Unisync strengths against competitor weaknesses
- Communicate effectively with all relevant internal department leads and SME's throughout the proposal development process
Experience:
- Minimum 4-5 years experience in public sector uniform sales role with existing contacts and relationships in the public sector
- Experience writing public sector RFP responses
- Some knowledge or experience with US public sector
