Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to delivering high-quality meals in a fast-paced restaurant environment. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in food preparation, cooking, and ensuring that our kitchen operates smoothly while adhering to food safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards.
  • Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including workstations and equipment.
  • Assist in meal preparation and plating for service, ensuring timely delivery of dishes.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service periods.
  • Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and ingredients, communicating needs to management.
  • Participate in regular kitchen cleaning duties, including deep cleaning tasks as required.
  • Cleaning and dishwashing over time for easy and good flow of kitchen.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
  • Familiarity with food safety practices and proper food handling procedures.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues.
