Job Overview
We're looking for a Process Controls and Information Systems (PCIS) Engineer to join our engineering team at our Belleville, Ontario facility. In this role, you will provide technical mastery and ownership across site power systems, controls, automation, and operational technology (OT). You'll influence critical plant initiatives, lead system improvements, and support day-to-day operations by serving as a key resource for troubleshooting, documentation, coaching, and capability development.

Here's What You Will Be Doing

  • Drive technical solutions, documentation, and collaboration to support plant operations.
  • Own the PCIS scope for capital projects, ensuring complete delivery, knowledge transfer, and adherence to standard designs and specifications.
  • Develop technical expertise to prepare for future collaboration as a SME, GTO team member, or Platform Leader.
  • Serve as an expert in one or more production systems and multiple unit operations.
  • Support daily plant needs through coaching, troubleshooting, or direct involvement.
  • Advance technologies, standards, and specifications to improve efficiency, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Leverage internal networks, vendor partnerships, and technology resources to deliver optimal results.
  • Mentor and coach engineers, technicians, and technical staff to strengthen overall team capability.
  • Apply people safety and food safety standards and principles.
  • Manage personal development through planning, training, and pursuit of broad and deep technical expertise.
  • Use KIWS Technical Center Tools to deliver projects and programs with excellence.
  • Role-model WKKC Beliefs and Behaviors to enhance the engineering culture.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in engineering or related field and 5 years of related work experience.
  • Working knowledge across Electrical Systems, Control Systems, and Operational Technology, with proficiency in at least one area.

Preferred Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical, computer, mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
  • 6–10 years of related engineering experience.

Salary Range: $88,960 - $111,200
