Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to an individual in a home care environments. Duties

  • Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
  • Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by spouse
  • Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding
  • Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere
  • Support clients with cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
  • Assist with transfers, medium weight lifting, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
  • Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with spouse

Skills

  • Experience in home care environments preferred
  • Strong patient care skills and personal care experience an asset
  • Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities
  • Excellent communication skills and empathetic nature
  • Ability to perform medium lifting safely and assist with mobility support
  • Competence in medication administration and basic nursing tasks
  • Capable of meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions
  • Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail in caregiving duties
  • Flexibility to adapt to various care needs and environments

Job Types: Part-time, Casual

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 18 per week
