Private Caregiver

**Job Summary**

**Duties**
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications and monitor health conditions as directed by spouse
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and maintaining a safe environment
- Provide companionship and emotional support to client, fostering a positive and respectful atmosphere
- Support clients with cognitive impairments through specialized care techniques
- Assist with transfers, medium weight lifting, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
- Document care activities accurately and communicate effectively with spouse

**Skills**
- Experience in home care environments preferred
- Strong patient care skills and personal care experience an asset
- Ability to work effectively with people with disabilities
- Excellent communication skills and empathetic nature
- Ability to perform medium lifting safely and assist with mobility support
- Competence in medication administration and basic nursing tasks
- Capable of meal preparation tailored to dietary restrictions
- Reliable, responsible, and attentive to detail in caregiving duties
- Flexibility to adapt to various care needs and environments

Pay: $15.00-$22.00 per hour
