Your leadership in this role will drive operational efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and continuous improvement, contributing to the overall success and growth of the organization.This role reports to our Senior Director, Commercial & Vocational Truck and Trailer Parts and plays a key part in supporting GoRight's mission for operational excellence and growth.Key Responsibilities:Inventory Data ManagementMaintain accurate part master data (descriptions, pricing, vendor setup) and ensure accuracy across all locationsAudit inventory records to improve data quality and reduce errorsVehicle Maintenance Reporting Standard Codification (VMRS)Assign and maintain correct VMRS codes for all parts and audit codes to enhance reporting accuracy and cost trackingOrdering ControlsSet and update min/max levels based on usage trendsManage replenishment triggers and handle exceptionsCoordinate urgent and special orders to minimize downtimeMulti-Site Inventory OversightMonitor inventory across service centres and mobile sitesEnsure daily replenishment and mobile inventory trackingReporting & AnalyticsGenerate reports on turnover, usage, cost savings, and fill ratesTrack KPIs to support continuous improvement and help develop automated reporting tools for inventory performanceSupplier & Vendor ManagementBuild and maintain strong vendor relationshipsSupport pricing negotiations that align with procurement strategyCollaboration & Process ImprovementPartner with maintenance, procurement, finance, and site teamsCreate training on inventory processes as well as recommend and implement systems/process enhancementsCollaborate on long-term procurement strategies with the Sr. Director of PartsWhat You Bring:3-5 years' experience in parts procurement/management, preferably in trucking or heavy equipmentSolid knowledge of inventory systems and procurement best practicesAdvanced skills in Excel, and familiarity with PowerBI is a plusStrong communication, analytical, and organizational skillsA proactive mindset and willingness to learn and growLean Six Sigma familiarityExperience with mobile inventory or multi-site operationsStrategic planning and leadership capabilitiesWe are committed to the principles of the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
